Dome Hills Station is located in the Kakanui Mountains, and the Lodge is nestled in its own private garden near the heart of this working sheep and cattle station. Built of Oamaru stone, the Lodge offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with spacious kitchen, table and chairs, living and dining room, sunroom, open log fire, with TV, DVD player, stereo, and wirless broadband internet. The sun drenched verandas with outdoor seating and barbecue, have magnificent mountain and garden views, with complete privacy and seclusion. The renovated self contained Lodge has underfloor heating, fully equipped laundry, and its own vege garden for guests use. Guests have the unique opportunity to experience and be part of a real working station, with horses and sheep dogs being part of the stockmen's way of life. Guests can also fish and hunt, play golf, hike or ride, mountain bike and explore. Guests can also relax and unwind, escape and rejuvenate. Catering and excursions are available with prior booking.
